Bereaved Families of Ontario- Cornwall and areaBereaved Families of Ontario – Cornwall & Area is a non-profit charitable organization which provides support, empathy and resources to children, youth, adults and seniors who have lost a loved one through death. All programs and services are offered free of charge. The Bereavement Centre and Lending Library is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Located at 216 Montreal Rd. in Cornwall, no appointment is necessary for the bereaved to visit the Centre. In addition to the Bereavement Centre and Lending Library, BFO – Cornwall & Area offers the following Programs and Services to help their clients cope with the loss of a loved one: Telephone Help Line One on One Discussion Telephone Support Bereavement Packages Supportive Newsletter Open Support Groups Closed Adult Support Groups Children Closed Support Groups Teen One Day Workshops Public Education/Training A major source of funding for Bereaved Families – Cornwall & Area is the United Way of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry. The balance of funds required is raised, through the generosity of the community, in the form of donations and the Annual Gala Dinner fundraiser. Together we can help the healing begin
