Bereaved Families of Ontario – Cornwall & Area is a non-profit charitable organization which provides support, empathy and resources to children, youth, adults and seniors who have lost a loved one through death. All programs and services are offered free of charge. The Bereavement Centre and Lending Library is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Located at 216 Montreal Rd. in Cornwall, no appointment is necessary for the bereaved to visit the Centre. In addition to the Bereavement Centre and Lending Library, BFO – Cornwall & Area offers the following Programs and Services to help their clients cope with the loss of a loved one:

A major source of funding for Bereaved Families – Cornwall & Area is the United Way of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry. The balance of funds required is raised, through the generosity of the community, in the form of donations and the Annual Gala Dinner fundraiser.
